Carrots with Cumin, Brown Sugar and Chili Powder

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 4 tsp light brown sugar
  • 4 ea. carrots

Instructions

  • Rinse uncut produce in fresh water. Do not peel carrots. Slice the carrot on the bias into 1/4” pieces. Add cumin, chili powder, brown sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper to a bowl with the carrots. Toss to combine spices and coat the carrots well.
  • On medium high heat, grill the carrots 5-7 minutes on each side until fork tender.
